Clients open the business's booking page, choose a service and a free time, and book for themselves. The owner sees every appointment in one diary, manages their clients, and does not have to answer each message to agree on a time.

Tor is built and operated by PROPEL, a studio that builds and runs websites and systems for businesses.

• A booking page at its own address, styled for the business, where clients book, change and cancel appointments.
• A diary with day and week views, opening hours and blocked times, and services with their own durations.
• Reminders a confirmation and a reminder to the client by email, and notices to the owner.
• A client card the client's details, history, notes and the forms they filled in.
• Forms and declarations questionnaires and declarations the client fills in before the appointment, kept for a period the business sets.
• Optional Google Calendar sync described below.

Add-ons such as WhatsApp messages and a connection to an invoicing provider are off by default; the studio turns them on on request.

A business owner can connect their own Google Calendar from the settings screen. The connection is the owner's choice alone, and it serves only that owner.

• The owner approves the connection on Google's consent screen, which lists exactly the permissions Tor asks for.
• Tor creates a dedicated calendar named after the business (or writes to an existing calendar the owner picks) and keeps one event per booking there: when a booking is made, changed or cancelled, the event is updated.
• If the owner chooses, Tor also reads the busy times of the calendars they ticked, start and end only, so that a time already taken in their calendar is not offered to clients twice. Titles, descriptions and attendees of events are not read.
• The owner can disconnect at any time, in the settings or in their Google account. Disconnecting revokes the token and deletes our copy.
